⮞ Become the best and most authentic version of yourself through maha-mantra meditation.

Get Started

Let’s start meditating!

Mantra meditation is something everyone can do, here's how.

Begin with the mantra!  Go straight to the essence with the Hare Krishna maha mantra – proclaimed as the most efficient and wholesome mantra for meditation by the ancient yoga and meditation texts – the Vedas.

There are no rules and there is no cost to receive this mantra

You receive it by simply reading it out loud. To enhance your experience and learn the correct pronunciation, listen to Srila Prabhupada, the foremost spiritual master of Hare Krishna mantra meditation in our times.

Step-by-step instruction

Now you’re ready to try mantra meditation in these 7 easy steps

Take a seat

Find a calm, quiet place. Sitting with your back straight and erect helps to enhance your focus.

Give yourself a time limit

This will allow you to focus without looking at the time knowing that soon your meditation will finish. (We suggest 5 or 10 minutes to start)

Notice your body

Be conscious and present. Contemplate that you are a spiritual being and the body and mind are a vehicle. Say to yourself “ I am not my body. I’m not my mind”

Feel your breath

Breathe deeply through your nose to help bring you to a calm, present state of mind.

Speak the mantra softly and just listen

This is the heart of mantra meditation. You should clearly hear each word you vibrate. (You can even chant along with the track of the maha-mantra above.)

Bring back your focus to the sound vibration when your mind wanders

Keep delicately bringing your mind focus back to the sound vibration. Do not be disturbed if your thoughts wander.

Close with gratitude

Keep going with the mantra for as long as you want, but try initialy to give yourself at least 5 minutes. Then, when you are ready to stop, take a few deep breathes, relax and offer gratitude to the divine for your experience.

That's it!
