  • I had many difficulties in my life. Already I had been meditating with the maha-mantra for a few weeks and feeling really elevated. This mantra meditation course was the cherry on top for this practice to really solidify in my heart and mind. The classes are really mind-blowing, the depth of this practice and knowledge, and I appreciate so much having two different teachers in the course sharing their realizations. Super excellent.

This chanting is so special! The mantra meditation course inspired me so much because I didn’t appreciate the depth of this practice and how far one can really go in spiritual life before taking this course. I feel the benefit in all aspects of my life, especially with my concentration and emotional wellbeing.

Transforming the Consciousness
This is a critical lesson, the final piece of the puzzle in truly understanding the self and the key to unlocking your full spiritual potential. Chapter 7
Understanding Divine Love
Followers of some of the world’s major religions often have closely held, contradictory beliefs about God and Divinity, which strongly affect their worldview and actions, sometimes even leading to violence. This lesson shows how Bhakti Yoga not only reconciles and harmonizes all these different perspectives but goes further and introduces us to Krishna – The Supreme Person as the original source, the ultimate object of love and reservoir of all happiness and pleasure.
Chapter 8
Calling Krishna
What makes the mahamantra so special? How is it different than any other mantra? Is it just a combination of some sounds, something to focus on while meditating? Find out in this lesson how the mahamantra is composed of three divine personal names - Hare, Krishna and Rama and how calling out these names connects us with these divine transcendental personalities.
Chapter 9
Responding to Divine Love
As spiritual beings, it is in our nature to love. However, whenever we try to repose this love in a person, country, cause, or object, we are time and time again left frustrated and disappointed. In this lesson, we see why and how, in order to truly be satisfied, we need to revive and redirect our loving propensity towards Krishna.
Chapter 10
The Heart of All Religion
Is mantra meditation and Bhakti Yoga a religion? Isn’t Krishna a Hindu God? Does chanting the mahamantra make me a Hindu or require me to convert from my own religion? Is it not possible to practice this meditation without following any religion? Short answer to all these questions, NO! For a more detailed answer, check out the lesson!
Chapter 11
Bhakti – Performing Loving Devotional Service
This lesson puts together everything we have learned so far and gives a powerful, comprehensive overview and summary. To revive our eternal loving relationship with God is the goal of Bhakti Yoga and to fully engage ourselves in loving devotional service is the means and the end. Frequently Asked Questions

What is chant now?
Chantnow.com is a dedicated team of monks, professionals, and volunteers with decades of experience in mantra-meditation, which is the heart of bhakti-yoga or devotional service. We live the lifestyle and personally practice what we share in our classes as per our individual capacities. Our teachings are based on the ancient wisdom texts such as the Bhagavad Gita, as presented by His Divine Grace A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada, the Founder-Acharya of the International Society for Krishna Consciousness, also known as the Hare Krishna movement, and form the spiritual foundation of the meditation training offered in our classes.
What is the maha mantra?
Hare Krishna Hare Krishna Krishna Krishna Hare Hare, Hare Rama Hare Rama Rama Rama Hare Hare

The literal meaning of maha-mantra is “The Great Chant of Deliverance.” While there are many mantras like ‘OM’ etc., the maha-mantra is the most powerful mantra in existence, also known as the Hare Krishna mantra. It has been a core practice of the ancient Bhakti Yoga tradition for thousands of years. Regular chanting of this mantra under proper guidance relieves one from stress, anxiety, and depression and instantly puts the practitioner in touch with a higher transcendental reality. Whether you are looking to improve your mental well-being, have greater focus and clarity, or have a genuine spiritual experience, meditating on this mantra will help you achieve your goals quickly.
Is chanting a form of meditation?
Yes! In fact, it is the best and easiest technique for meditation because it uses the transformative power of sound, allowing the restless wandering mind to concentrate on it easily and not get easily distracted by mental chatter, which is the number one source of distraction for beginners. Chanting on beads is especially beneficial, as it engages the sense of touch and speech and auditory functions in the meditation process.
What is bhakti yoga?
Bhakti is derived from the Sanskrit word bhaj, which means – loving service. Bhakti-yoga means to connect to the Supreme by means of loving devotional service. The path of bhakti-yoga is developed through a variety of activities. These include mantra meditation or the chanting of the names Hare Krishna. The chanting is done either individually or in the community by chanting mantras accompanied by music (kirtan). The study of sacred texts such as the Bhagavad-gita, associating with like-minded spiritual aspirants, eating sanctified vegetarian food, and living in a way that upholds the principles of truthfulness, mercy, austerity, and cleanliness, are all core practices for a life of followers of bhakti.
Who is Srila Prabhupada?
Srila Prabhupada is the founder acharya (spiritual head) of the International Society for Krishna Consciousness. Srila Prabhupada not only brought bhakti yoga and the Hare Krishna maha-mantra to the western world but also circled the globe 14 times on lecture tours, bringing the teachings of Lord Krishna to thousands of people on six continents.
